Ancient Egypt Series

This vibrant and colourful Ancient Egypt series, featuring scarab beetles as well as intricate patterns and textures, is a tribute to my time travelling in Egypt 20 years ago. I was inspired by the grandeur and beauty of the pyramids, the temples, and the landscapes of Egypt. I have used gold leaf, watercolour, and gel pen to create a series of paintings that evoke the mystique and wonder of this ancient civilization. The current exhibition on Tutankhamun at Utopia in Munich has also been a source of inspiration for me, and I am excited to share my own interpretation of Ancient Egypt with you.
